This sub-class includes industrial design activities not elsewhere classified. This refers to activities carried out also through specialised software, creating and/or developing designs and/or specifications that optimise the use, value and/or appearance of the products, the determination of the materials, construction, mechanism, shape, colour and surface finishes of the product, taking into consideration human characteristics and needs, safety, market appeal and/or efficiency in production, distribution, use and/or maintenance.
