Units in this sub-class are primarily engaged in: - mining of: - metal ores - thorium ores - non-ferrous metal ores (e.g., aluminium (bauxite), copper, lead, zinc, tin, manganese) - coal - lignite - chemicals - fertiliser minerals - extraction of peat uranium and/or salt - mining and quarrying of various minerals and/or materials such as abrasive materials, asbestos and/or siliceous fossils meals
