This sub-class includes the operation of infant and child-minding services for pre-school children. Units in this sub-class generally care for infants and/or pre-school aged children. Units in this sub-class are primarily engaged in: - children's crèche service - infant care service - children drop-off service - babysitting services for infants and/or pre-school children by both agencies and/or own-account individuals

This sub-class includes: - student care/child-minding services for school-going children by both agencies and/or own-account individual before and/or after school - student care services for children with special needs

This sub-class includes: - provision of non-residential social assistance services for children and/or youth. These firms provide for the welfare of children in such areas as adoption and/or foster care, drug prevention, life skills training, and/or positive social development. Units in this sub-class are primarily engaged in: - youth outreach service - welfare and/or guidance services for children and adolescents - child adoption/fostering services - child protection specialist centres - youth diversionary programmes - Pre-family Guidance Order /Family Guidance Order programmes

This sub-class includes social services without accommodation for children, youth and families not elsewhere classified. Examples: - family service centre - marriage and/or divorce counselling services (excluding those by psychology clinics) - family welfare services - parenting support providers

This sub-class includes community development councils.

This sub-class includes the provision of vocational rehabilitation services to unemployed and/or underemployed persons because of lack of education, job skill and/or experience. Units in this sub-class are primarily engaged in: - job counselling - job training - vocational rehabilitation and/or rehabilitation services for unemployed persons provided that the education component is limited

This sub-class includes charitable activities like fund-raising or other charitable and/or other supporting activities aimed at humanitarian work.

This sub-class includes social services without accommodation not elsewhere classified. Examples: - community foundation - credit and/or debt counselling services
