Why was my SSIC code automatically changed from 18112 to 18111?

Singapore's national industrial classification was updated from SSIC 2020 to SSIC 2025, effective 9 May 2026. ACRA's BizFile+ system automatically mapped every existing entity to its closest SSIC 2025 equivalent using the official SingStat correspondence table. The code SSIC 18112 (Commercial printing) was reclassified to SSIC 18111 (Printing of periodicals, books and magazines) under that mapping.

Do I need to take any action?

Usually no. If your business activity is unchanged, the new code accurately reflects it under SSIC 2025 and no manual update is needed.
